Some of the most famous tavillon roofs of the Fribourg Prealps can be found in Jaun. Today, only a few craftsmen, called " tavilloneurs", still master this valued savoir-faire. It is hard to believe, but a tavillon facade can last more than a century! It is therefore essential to make sure this craftsmanship is sustained, and it is with the help of the local tavilloneur Vincent Gachet that this room has been designed.
