Cross-country skiing experience

For some years now, the Im Fang Nordic center has been considered a secret place by skiers. The early and long-lasting snow cover and the approximately 20 kilometers of cross-country ski trails are appreciated by locals and visitors alike. Thanks to the Snowfarm project, the first meters of track were laid this winter as early as mid-November, long before the first natural snow fell.

Thanks to the great training possibilities and the extended season, the area has always been known for its talents. Shortly after taking their first steps, the young Im Fangers are already on their skis and doing laps. And who knows, maybe the region will soon celebrate its first world champion.

The cross-country ski trail from Im Fang in the direction of Jaun, passes right by our hotel. It is therefore possible to leave directly from the hotel with the cross-country skis on the track and enjoy the tours in the direction of Im Fang and Jaun. There is also the possibility to buy a day pass at the hotel reception. Equipment can be rented at the Nordic Center in Im Fang or at Mooser Sport in Jaun.

If you are not yet fully trained or if you want to improve your technique, the Nordic Center instructors are at your disposal. Please register so that we can book a training time for you. After your cross-country skiing experience, we recommend that you take a break to warm up in the "Loipenbuvette" before returning to the hotel. It is a popular meeting place for athletes and locals.

The Im Fang / Jaun area is ideal for discovering the quiet and gentle region of La Gruyère on cross-country skis. The Waterfall

Along with the Gastlosen, the waterfall is the village's main attraction and is one of the photographers' favourite spots. Inspired by its surroundings, this room is shaped with wood logs, and modernity and tradition work well together. Stand at the window corner and feel the comfort of the waterfall as a decor, just for you.
