The overnight stay in the themed room is just right to take a break from the stressful everyday life. Especially the Nydl-Gebslì is an eye-catcher and is perfect for especially sweet dreams.

Upon arrival at our hotel, the first surprise awaits you with a welcome drink in our armchair in the garden overlooking the waterfall. A cozy place to unwind and toast to the days ahead. The package includes some relaxing activities.

Great highlight is the visit toLes Bains de La Gruyère. In the 34 degree warm water in the bathing area of 650m² with indoor and outdoor zone, the rest mode switches on as if by itself. The baths are wonderfully embedded in the surrounding mountain landscape and the panorama comes free of charge on top.

At dinner in our restaurant we will spoil you with a delicious gourmet menu, prepared with a lot of passion by our chef Linda. The fresh regional products leave nothing to be desired, with the wine selection we advise you with pleasure. The cozy ambience invites you to linger, but do not forget a very special bed chamber awaits you.

The Nydl-Gebslì is a wooden vessel, which is used in our area especially in mountain huts for the well-known heavy cream. Such a Nydl-Gebslì served as inspiration for one of our six themed rooms. The result is a romantic room with a lot of wood, characterized by a round bed decorated with fine details.

With a walk to the waterfall or into the untouched nature you round off your time out in the mountains. And as a special insider tip, we recommend the sunset on our terrace. Snuggled up in our lambskins, with a hot drink in your hand, the day can end wonderfully.

After these quiet days you start with fresh energy and the heart has really warmed up from the inside. So that you can take a piece of this wonderful time home with you, we prepare a basket with exquisite products from the region.

The cream bucket

Daniel Julmy’s other room is the most atypical one in this hotel, with a cream bucket as a bed. A cream bucket is a wooden container used in our Alpine pastures to serve the very special “double cream”., with his savoir-faire, created this bed by giving it the round shape of the bucket, without forgetting the traditional cream spoon, used to get the cream out of the bucket and taste it. So one of our rooms honours our most traditional dessert; the cream bucket room will offer you a peaceful and sweet night’s sleep. Please note that this room has a lower ceiling than the rest of our rooms.
